Scale: 1:250000; Map Type: lcgft; Other Descriptive Notes about Map Series: Relief shown by contours, gradient tints, shading, and spot heights. Depths shown by gradient tints. Three classes of railways and five classes of roads are shown. Covers area north from Flushing (Vlissingen),Netherlands to Valanciennes, France to the south, and west from Quesques, France to Brussels to the east. Lille roughly just below center of sheet. Ghent roughly at center right portion of sheet. Sheet 2, Lille-Ghent from set covering most of the Low Countries and northeastern France.
