This polygon shapefile portrays the distribution of 10 selected amphibians in the United States, based on historical literature and museum records from current and historical sources ranging from 1941 to 2000. This layer is part of the 1997-2014 edition of the National Atlas of the United States. These data are intended for geographic display and analysis at the national level, and for large regional areas.
