Description:: THis polygon shapefile represents grid cells of 30 by 30 degrees that cover the world. This layer is part of the 2014 ESRI Data and Maps collection for ArcGIS 10.2.

World Map Background provides for displaying a shaded background on which other data can be displayed. For example, use the World Map Background to quickly display a blue ocean layer behind other land-based layers such as World Countries.
