- Data has been geo-referenced to projected coordinate system WGS 1984 36N. Files have been slightly modified to remove modern roads, buildings, etc. around the archaeological area of Saqqara. Raster attempts to visualize ancient ground level at the end of the Old Kingdom and Middle Kingdom.
- Purpose
- Raster created using digitized contour line files based on the Egyptian Ministry of Housing and Reconstruction (MHR Le Caire) 1:5000 series, 1978, H23 and H24. Available at: https://lccn.loc.gov/00553301
