This point shapefile represents dams and weirs in Kosovo. The Global Map Republic of Kosovo version 2.0 Boundary layer was developed using the official data that owns Kosovo Cadastral Agency and based on the law that defines administrative boundaries of the Republic of Kosovo. The Global Map Republic of Kosovo version 2.0 Drainage layer was developed using the ortho-photo images of year 2009 and official cadastral data in big scale that owns Kosovo Cadastral Agency. The data of drainage layer was verified by the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning of Kosovo, as governmental responsible institution for drainage in Kosovo. The Global Map Republic of Kosovo version 2.0 Population Center layer was developed using the ortho-photo images of year 2009 and official cadastral data in big scale that owns Kosovo Cadastral Agency. The data of drainage layer was verified by the Kosovo Statistical Office, as governmental responsible institution for population centers and demography of the Republic of Kosova. The Global Map Republic of Kosovo version 2.0 Transportation layer was developed using the ortho-photo images of year 2009 and official cadastral data in big scale that owns Kosovo Cadastral Agency. The data of transportation layer was verified by the Ministry of Transportation and Post Telecommunications of Kosovo, as governmental responsible institution for transportation in Kosovo.
