Description:

Appeared in the first edition of Itinerarum Saccrae Scripturae (1581). This map has an
unusual shape, tapering to a narrow angle in the south. The sea is engraved in vertical,
wavy lines, with a galleon, a merman and a sea-bird. Top left: 20. Top right: 21.
