This dataset contains India Meteorological Department (IMD) high spatial resolution (0.25 x 0.25 degree) daily gridded rainfall data for India. Data for each year from 1901 to 2017 are available in GRD (.grd) and ASCII (.TXT) format. All the gridded data are given in the directory RF_DATA_PT25. This subdirectories contain 117 binary data files one each for 117 years (1901-2017). The rainfall data files are named as ind1901_rfp25.grd, ind1902_rfp25.grd etc. ASCII files of gridded rainfall data are stored in folder ASCII_DATA_PT25 as a zipped file.
