To St. Louis, Hannibal, Quincey, St. Joseph, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas City, Jefferson City, Council Bluffs, Omaha City, Cherry Creek, Pike's Peak, and the gold regions of Kansas and Nebraska." "This road is the shortest and quickest route to Lafayette, Springfield, Alton, St. Louis, and all points in the far west, with fewer changes than any other route. Passengers by this Route go through from Toledo to St. Louis without change of Cars.
