Abstract
New York City Block Groups, 2000 is a polygon theme representing block group boundaries as defined and used for the 2000 United States Decennial Census. This file was generated from the New York City Census Blocks for 2000 US Census shapefile produced from the New York City Department of City Planning.
Purpose
This dataset is appropriate for use with other New York City GIS layers as well as data from the 2000 U.S. census.
