- Abstract
- New York City Commuter Rail Stations is a point theme representing New York City Transit commuter rail stations for the Long Island and Metro North rail road systems. Attribute data include the names of the stations, names of the lines, names of the railroads and type of station. Raw data was acquired from files from the New York State Department of Transportation. Data is provided in the projection NAD83 to align with the NYCMap basemap. The realigned data has not been thoroughly checked for accuracy
- Purpose
- The commuter rail files represent the location of the rail centerlines and stations as shown on 1:100,000 scale source materials.
- Supplemental Information
- Port Jervis and Pascack Valley Stations are included with the NJ Rail data files.
