Abstract
New York City Bus Stops 2006 is a point theme representing NYC Transit and Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) bus stop locations in New York City. Attribute data include identification information and the latitude and longitude coordinates of each stop. Bus stops are offset from the street centerlines. The realigned data has not been thoroughly checked for accuracy.
Purpose
Cartographic representation of bus stops, as of 2006. This dataset was developed for use with the NYCMap basemap.
Supplemental Information
Contains information on NYC Transit and MTA (formerly NYC Department of Transportation) buses.
