Abstract
This is a scanned version of the 1780 paper map entitled: Carte Du Bengale. The map was scanned at 300 dots per inch and is in the TIFF format. This map was originally published in the 1780 Atlas Histoire universelle, depuis le commencement du monde. Thanks to Prof. Frances Pritchett, Columbia University, for providing the original paper map for this scan.
Purpose
Scanned maps may be used for a variety of purposes. This image may be used in a GIS.
