Description:: Inner Mongolia Places, 1871 is a point theme representing towns & mountains in Inner Mongolia in 1871 on the routes from the Dalai Nur Lake and Kalgan west to Jartai Lake and the route north to Ulaan Baatar; digitized from H.M. Prezhavalsky "Map of East Asian Steppe" 1871-1873. This dataset was developed by Irina Merzliakova (Inst of Geography) and Alexei Karimov (Inst for the History of Science), Russian Academy of Sciences.
