- This shapefile contains arcs, polygons and polygon labels that describe coal-bearing territories and identified coal deposits in the countries comprising the Former Soviet Union. (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Tajikstan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.)
- Purpose
- This spatial dataset is intended to delineate coal-bearing territories and coal deposits of the Former Soviet Union in U.S.G.S. Open File Report 01-104, Coal Quality and Resources of the Former Soviet Union - An ArcView Project.
