2010 census data for Egypt by city or village.
Purpose
To visualize census data using GIS software.
Supplemental Information
The attribute table containing the census data for this map is included in Unicode text (.txt) format to preserve Arabic headings and entries. These census data must therefore be added to the map shapefile manually. Using GIS software, the full attribute table can be joined to the map by means of the "Object_ID" field, which is present in both the full table and in the rudimentary .dbf table associated with the map shapefile. The original dataset, in Microsoft Access database (.mdb) format, is also included.
