- This shapefile contains arcs, polygons and polygon labels that describe lakes in the countries comprising the Former Soviet Union. (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Tajikstan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.)
- Purpose
- This spatial dataset is intended to delineate lakes in the Former Soviet Union as a locational reference in U.S.G.S. Open File Report 01-104, "Coal Quality and Resources of the Former Soviet Union - An ArcView Project".
