Main section of map shows route from Kaomiaotzu (N 36°36'/E 102°01) to Batang. Ancillary section of map shows route from Kalgan (Zhangjiakou) to Kao-miao-tzu. Relief shown by hachures and spot heights. Mr. Rockhill's route shown in red. Dates of expedition shown along route. Includes explanation of Tibetan and Mongolian words used. "Note.
