Abstract
This shapefile contains points describing the locations of capital cities of the countries comprising the Former Soviet Union. (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Tajikstan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.)
Purpose
This spatial dataset is provided to depict the capitol cities of the countries comprising the Former Soviet Union as a locational reference to U.S.G.S. Open File Report 01-104, "Coal Quality and Resources of the Former Soviet Union - An ArcView Project".
