1 map; 45 x 55 cm Relief shown pictorially. North oriented to the bottom right corner. No compass rose or directions included. Three decorative cartouches, including the title, scale, and a blank cartouche. The scale cartouche includes a man and woman surrounded by faming tools, while the blank cartouche includes a holding a faming tool. In the blank cartouche in pencil is written "Defense à Fumer." This state was published in Jan Jansson's Theatrum Universe Galliae in 1632. From the Jansson Appendix Atlas 1636-1680, title created to represent a unique collection within the Clark Library, University of Michigan.
