1 map ; 45 x 55 cm. Relief shown pictorially. Decorative cartouche includes two cherubs with scrolls and holding the crowned excutcheon of France. Underneath two faces frame the scale cartouche. Further illustration includes a ship and sea monster on the ocean. This state was published in Jan Jansson's Atlas Novus in 1680. From the Jansson Appendix Atlas 1636-1680, title created to represent a unique collection within the Clark Library, University of Michigan.
