This point data layer represents airports for Colorado in 2003. The dataset was originally published by the Colorado Department of Transportation on December 31, 2003.[Features in this dataset represent the point locations of public or military airports in Colorado.]
Purpose
This layer is intended for reference and mapping purposes and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. [Geographic data representing airports is required by the ISTEA and TEA-21 Federal legislation.]
