Chapter 28 of the Vilas County general code of ordinances. This ordinance is enacted for the purpose of establishing and maintaining a uniform addressing system for Vilas County. The intent of this ordinance is to facilitate the naming of roads, signing of roads, assigning of addresses, and the location of address signs in order to aid emergency personnel in providing fire protection, emergency medical services, law enforcement services, delivery of mail and meet other general location needs of the public.
