This data is managed by the Wisconsin Office of Emergency Communications (OEC)Purpose: The purpose of this data is to be used for Next Generation 911 i3 IP based emergency call routing via a NG911 ESInet. The main purpose in making it available to the public is to enhance interoperability between emergency response agencies across the state of Wisconsin and beyond. However, its contents and attribution may have many other applications.Source: This data is sourced from all 72 counties across the state of Wisconsin as well as the City of Milwaukee.Contents: Site/Structure Address Points in the WI NG911 GIS Data Standards schema. This schema is nearly identical to the NENA NG911 Standard. This data contains site/structure address points sourced from counties across Wisconsin during the Wisconsin Next Generation 911 Project. The data has been found to be critical error free by a QA process managed by the OEC via GeoComm's GIS Data Hub. This data is currently incomplete as not counties have submitted site/structure address points to the project yet, or that data that has been submitted was not found to be critical error free.Update Cycle: This data is updated on a roughly weekly basis by the OEC.
