Abstract
This data layer represents land use for Clark County, Wisconsin in 2014. It is a feature class within the geodatabase "Clark_LandUse_2014.gdb". [The data was created through windshield verification. Areas not visible via the road network were checked using aerial photography. All land use classifications include associated features such as accessory buildings, parking facilities, driveways, yards, landscaping, etc. Defined parcels approximately 5.5 acres or less have been designated one land use classification.]
Purpose
This layer is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. [This data provides an inventory of land use in the county generalized under four categories: intensive uses, public resource land, private resource land and base features. This inventory was taken in 2002.]
