View current and planned Wisconsin transportation improvement projects.  These maps are meant to provide you with basic information about projects such as construction ID, work type, route, project limits and cost range.  Some projects are Regionwide or Statewide and are only viewable through the attribute table.  For more detailed information regarding Wisconsin projects, please check out Highway Projects and Studies.  The Two Year Transportation Improvement Program map provides construction improvement projects for two years.  This map is for solicitating construction projects for Consultants to submit Notice of Interest. For more information regarding the project solicitation, please check the WisDOT Solicitation website.  Bid letting advertisements are posted approximately five weeks prior to the bid letting.  For accurate information regarding Letting information, please refer to WisDOT Construction Bid Letting Website.  The Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) map produces a four-year plan of highway and transit projects for the state of Wisconsin.  The STIP plan adopts the Transportation Improvement Programs prepared by the state's 14 metropolitan planning organizations by reference. The STIP plan is approved by the Federal Highway Administration and the Federal Transit Administration.  For more information please visit the WisDOT STIP webpage.  The Six Year Transportation Improvement Program map displays projects that reflect the department's intent to improve the state and local highway system based on assumptions about available revenue, inflation and legislative decisions. As these assumptions change, so does the program.
