- This data represents internet service providers coverage by district for Wisconsin state in 2021.
- Purpose
- This data is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. [In order to make home internet more accessible to public school students across the state of Wisconsin, we need to determine which Internet Service Providers claim to have coverage in each school district. Using FCC ISP coverage data from December 2019 and Wisconsin public school district boundary data from July 2020, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin developed this dataset to help bridge the digital divide in Wisconsin.]
