The dataset was created by the Dane County Land amp; Water Resources Department with information from the Dane County Council of Snowmobile Clubs and Dane County Parks. Trail locations are from GPS, aerial photo or club knowledge and are updated as information is received. Data is used to create the Official Dane County Snowmobile Trail Map.
