Abstract
This data layer represents municipalities for Taylor County, Wisconsin in 2015. [This dataset contains the current municipal boundaries based up existing parcel data. Previously, Taylor County had separate datasets for townships and cities/villages. As updates are made to parcels or as boundary lines change this dataset will need to also be updated.]
Purpose
This layer is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. [This data set is to be used in conjunction with the roads, site access, buildings and driveway data to further enhance the addressing data.]
