- These line and polygon data layers represent roads (2017) and right of ways (2006) for Clark County, WI. They are feature classes within the geodatabase Clark_Transportation_2017.gdb. [This is the Roads Centerline coverage derived from the 1997 air photos. It is the public road centerline layer but also contains private driveways that are longer in length. Road classes are identified for each centerline-only primary forest roads are included in this layer. Additional forest roads are maintained in a separate layer maintained by the Forestry Department.. The data is updated when mistakes are found or when information is provided by the owning entity.]
- Purpose
- This layer is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. [This data layer represents the road centerlines and contains some attribute information regarding the road. The centerlines are used for many purposes, including the platbook and road atlas, and utilized within many departments. Due to the multi-departmental needs, the data has unique tabular and spatial information/entities.]
- Supplemental Information
- This data was submitted to the UW geospatial archive in 2017. Content may be considered current as of December 31, 2016. It was published to the UW geospatial archive as part of the Wisconsin Department of Administration Land Information Program annual collection of public data for the year 2017. The exception is the right of way data contained in the feature class 'ROW_2006' which was gathered in 2006.
