- This data represents DOT regions for Wisconsin in 2021. [A DOT Region is a cartographic representation of a portion of the state that is administratively identified as acting as a single organizational unit. This designation was added as a result of the DOT reorganization in 2005.]
- Purpose
- This data is intended for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analysis with other spatial data. [To provide a general cartographic dataset for displaying DOT Regions.]
